On the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2015, ILC Training and the U.S. Embassy in Bahrain announce the launch of a new Women’s English and Entrepreneurship program this week. This nine-month program will provide 16 Bahraini women with the skills and knowledge to become competitive players in local and global markets. The courses will include English as a second language, technical workshops, motivational sessions, and business skills needed to open successful small businesses.
The Women’s English and Entrepreneurship Program is a vocational program that provides existing and potential women entrepreneurs with the right skills and knowledge to open and grow successful small businesses. The program enables Bahraini women entrepreneurs to gain business skills, supporting the development of women entrepreneurs in Bahrain’s private sector. It provides training materials and trainers to aspiring women entrepreneurs, which will lead to sustainable and competitive small businesses in Bahrain. In reference to the launch of this groundbreaking program, U.S. Ambassador William Roebuck said, “The Women’s English and Entrepreneurship Program helps Bahraini women develop the skills that they need to start their small businesses and realize their dreams.”
