On July 14, Deputy Public Affairs Officer Joslyn Mack-Wilson and Cultural Specialist Janan Shaikh Abdulla met with Bahraini females students participating in the Women2Women International Leadership Program (W2W).
W2W is a global leadership conference for young women. The program provides the opportunity to learn, network and acquire the leadership and professional development skills that will empower them to succeed and make a difference in their community and country. The program will take place in, from July 21 through July 30, 2016.
Kawthar Fathalla from the 2015 W2W program shared her first-hand experience of campus life in the United States with the outgoing 2016 participants. She encouraged the students to be proactive in the program, learn as much as possible about U.S. culture and society and engage with their American peers.
