On December 14, 2017, U.S. Embassy Manama participated in the Seedstars MENA Summit. The summit gathered all of Seedstars’ local winners, 350 registered attendees, including regional investors, mentors, entrepreneurs, and corporations.
The event featured a number of panel discussions as well as some innovation showcases. U.S. Embassy Economic Officer Judith E. Baker participated in a panel discussion entitled, “Governmental support of entrepreneurship in MENA,” which concentrated on what is needed to support entrepreneurship.
