The United States condemns in the strongest terms Friday night’s bombing in Karranah that killed a police officer and left several others wounded, including innocent civilians. We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the slain officer and the people of Bahrain. Our hearts go out to those who find themselves in mourning as a result of this odious crime, and we hope that all who were injured experience a rapid recovery.
Friday night’s terrorist attack is reprehensible. We urge all concerned to condemn such violence and to do everything possible to prevent it. Reconciliation and dialogue are the only way forward for all Bahrainis to achieve their legitimate aspirations.
