On Feb. 22, U.S. Department of Commerce General Counsel Kelly R. Welsh visited Bahrain for various meetings focused on entrepreneurship. In a roundtable discussion hosted at the Capital Club, Bahraini business leaders shared with General Counsel Welsh their experiences as entrepreneurs, the support their and other Bahraini organizations provide to foster entrepreneurship in Bahrain, and ways in which the United States can help Bahraini entrepreneurs achieve their goals. Mr. Welsh said: “It was great to meet so many women as well as men who are entrepreneurs or who are fostering the ecosystem for entrepreneurship in Bahrain. Your stories were very inspiring, and I look forward to hearing about your future successes.” The General Counsel’s visit was organized by the DOC’s Commercial Law Development Program in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Manama.
