U.S. Ambassador Hosts Discussion In Honor of U.S.-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement Founders

As part of the U.S. Embassy’s Discover America Week celebrations, U.S. Ambassador to Bahrain Justin Siberell hosted a discussion at his residence in honor of the founders of the U.S.-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement (FTA).  The guests discussed bilateral economic and commercial relations and ways of moving forward with the FTA to enhance trade.

Ambassador Siberell hailed the enduring strength of commercial ties between the U.S. and Bahrain.  He emphasized that Discover America Week is an opportunity to get together and hear from the FTA founders about their vision when we founded the agreement, as well as discuss ways to advance the FTA in order to reap more benefits for both Bahrain and the United States.

A number of FTA founders, business leaders, local companies, and members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain (AmCham) attended the event.
