Success Story of U.S.-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement

U.S. Ambassador Justin Siberell along with Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed Al-Zayani visited West Point Home to celebrate a fantastic United States-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement success story as part of the Discover America Week 2018. The American home textile company has invested more than $160 million in Bahrain since the U.S.-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement entered into force in 2006.

West Point Home produces high-end, world-class home textile products, and its primary customer base is the United States of America. West Point Home also produces hospitality products for leading hotel brands. Thanks to the Free Trade Agreement, West Point Home has invested millions of dollars into Bahrain’s economy, and created hundreds of jobs, while continuing to exports 95% of its products to the United States.
