Student Leaders Return from the United States

Tomorrow's Leaders

On August 23, Acting Public Affairs Officer Joslyn Mack-Wilson and Cultural Affairs Specialist Janan Shaikh Abdulla met with the 2016 MEPI Student Leaders returnees. The students shared their academic and cultural experience in the United States. The students described the six-week program as an opportunity for them to learn about leadership and prepare to be future leaders of their country. 2012 MEPI Alum Ali Abdulla joined the group and spoke about the monthly MEPI coffee gatherings and encouraged the 2016 MEPIers to come. On behalf of the Embassy, Joslyn Mack-Wilson and Janan Shaikh Abdulla congratulated the group and urged them to continue to participate in Embassy activities.
