The U.S. Embassy’s Smartphone Photography Exhibition “Bahrain in the eye of the beholder,” held on February 5th, 2015, was one of the first exhibitions to feature the use of Smartphones as a medium of work.
The exhibition provided an opportunity for Bahrainis from across the country to showcase 23 photos of their work and to compete in the competition. The exhibition was attended by Bahraini photographers, both amateur and professional, as well as the general public, who shared their thoughts on the work and discussed the numerous possibilities for future exhibitions offered by the medium.
