On Friday, March 10, Consular Chief Tod Thedy, along with his U.S. Embassy consular team, set up a booth in the Freedom Souq on board Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain in Juffair to help sailors and marines process any necessary paperwork and answer their questions on consular issues. This extraordinary consular session, a collaborative effort between NSA Bahrain and the U.S. Embassy in Manama, Bahrain, served hundreds of servicemen and women, allowing them to get their documents up-to-date and their questions answered without having to leave NSA.
Due to the overwhelming success of this event, the U.S. Embassy will work with NSA to plan similar outreach events in the future.
