On Thursday, September 12, PAO Karin Ehlert welcomed back high school students who participated in summer exchange programs, the Women-to-Women International Leadership (W2W) and Women in Engineering (WIE) in the United States. The students spoke about the cultural and academic aspects of their respective programs. They pointed out that the program was an opportunity for them to share and explain Bahrain and Arab culture to an American and international audience. They described their programs as “an eye-opener” to consider studying in America and experiencing campus life.
The W2W and WIE are post-initiated exchange programs targeting high school students.
