On May 6th, three Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) alumni led a panel discussion on the FLTA Program for a group of interested applicants. The FLTA Program is an exchange program which sends local teachers to the United States to teach Arabic and enroll in college-level courses. The panel discussed the application process and challenges, the pre-departure orientations, the first weeks at the host university, the management of allowances, and the cultural aspects of the program. The Alumni highlighted how rewarding the experience was on both professional and personal levels. This event was organized in partnership with the American Corner at the Isa Cultural Center.
