In conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week, the U.S. Embassy hosted a viewing session for the Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) webinar led by the U.S. Department of State. The webinar, entitled “Failing Forward, Using Setbacks to Drive Success,” included three panelists who spoke about their experiences mentoring entrepreneurs through setbacks in their businesses. Topics included using failure as a learning opportunity, how to best address cultural norms related to business failure, and how to identify and improve upon the successful elements of otherwise failed projects. The interactive webinar afforded participants from around the world the opportunity to ask questions of the three panelists. Three Bahraini entrepreneurs attended the viewing session hosted by the U.S. Embassy.
