Dr. William Baker, seven-time Emmy award-winning broadcaster and Director of the Bernard L. Schwartz Center for Media, Public Policy & Education at Fordham University visited Bahrain November 8-13 to speak on entrepreneurship in the arts. Dr. Baker, who also teaches the only business course at the Julliard School in New York, gave a series of lectures based on his book, “Every Leader is an Artist” at the University of Bahrain, the University College of Bahrain, and the Bahraini Officer’s Club, hosted by the Governor of the Capital Governate. The highlight was a lecture and reception the Bahraini National Gallery, hosted by the President of the Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
