On March 26, Deputy Chief of Mission Aimee Cutrona visited the Arabian Gulf University to talk to mid-career executives on Leadership for the 21st Century. This course is part of Boston College’s Memorandum of Understanding with Arabian Gulf University to deliver a PhD in Innovation Management. The program is designed to help early and mid-career executives understand the challenges and devise mechanisms to facilitate innovation in public and private enterprises. The students are from Bahrain and around the region.
DCM Cutrona shared her experience as a diplomat with the students and discussed leadership skills and challenges. Dr. Robert M. Mauro, Director of the Global Leadership Institute at Boston College, and AGU Professor Dr. Odeh Al-Jayyousi, the program’s director, hosted the session.
