Children’s Program at the National Library To celebrate US Independence Day

To celebrate Independence Day, English Language Fellow Jesse Conway and Muna D. Abdmohammad, coordinator of the American Corner at the Bahrain National Library, invited the children of Bahrain to take part in a cultural exchange program. Children from ages 4 – 12 participated in coloring activities, learned about the history behind the flags of Bahrain and the United States, created original country flags, and interacted with the Fellow to learn more about the United States. Older children learned about the different environments of the USA through the Landscapes word search activities.https://bh.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/141/2017/07/IMG_7686.jpg
