Getting Started in the U.S.

Investing in the United States

The United States’ vast domestic market, transparent legal system, and innovative culture have made it the world’s #1 destination for foreign direct investment.

Getting Started

If you are considering investing in the United States, below are a few steps you can take to learn more.

  • Visit the SelectUSA website to learn why the U.S. is the world’s top location for business and investment, discover programs and incentives to help your business succeed, and read industry snapshots on more than a dozen sectors.
  • Contact the U.S. Embassy Commercial Team to discuss your interests and needs.
  • Use the Cluster Mapping Tool to learn more about regional business strengths.  You can also read case studies and find tool kits for formulating business development strategies.
  • Read more on business law and regulations for a variety of sectors.

Visas

All Bahraini citizens must apply for a visa prior to traveling to the United States.  You can find more information regarding business visas at the U.S. Embassy Bahrain Website.

U.S.-based trade shows can provide Bahraini firms with an opportunity to increase brand awareness, identify investment opportunities, and locate trade partners, importers and distributors.
