The US Embassy sponsored a two-day basketball clinic for Bahrain School students on April 14 & 15, 2015. Former National Basketball Association (NBA) Champion and current Manama Club Coach Sam Vincent and former Women’s National Basketball Association WNBA Champion Kedra Holland-Corn conducted the clinic, which was attended by over sixty students aged 11-14 years. The first day of the clinic focused on championship principles for basketball players and the second day focused on basketball fundamentals, such as a review of basic skills, optimizing practice drills on both offense and defense, and key elements of building team cohesiveness and cooperation.
Coach Roger Chisolm and Coach Ayman Hamza from Manama Club Basketball Team assisted in conducting the clinics.
