American Fulbright Specialist Dr. Marika Snider visited the Royal University for Women, November 27 to December 14. During her visit, Dr. Snider was a guest lecturer in architectural conservation classes and helped the Royal University for Women review its architecture coursework. Dr. Snider also participated in a conservation project with RUW students, as part of an effort to introduce students to architecture-historic preservation skills and knowledge needed to advance in this field.
Dr. Snider is currently an architect for the Ohio History Connection, where she works on the preservation, restoration, improvements, and construction administration for Ohio’s 58 historic sites. Dr. Snider previously taught coursework in architecture, history, planning, and construction technology at Miami University, Sinclair Community College, the Jordanian University of Science and Technology, the University of Utah, and Salt Lake Community College.
