On May 16, 2016, the Youth Pioneer Society held the closing ceremony of their “The Chance 2016” program, which encourages young entrepreneurs to develop their own unique business ideas, providing training and mentorship by local entrepreneurs and experts on topics such as market studies, business plans, and presentation skills. The Youth Pioneer Society is a non-profit organization which aims to improve the quality of life for all Bahraini youth.
Mr. Osama Mohammed Al Arayedh, Undersecretary for Industrial Affairs and Ambassador Roebuck headlined the event. Ambassador Roebuck noted the importance of youth entrepreneurship as a means to diversify Bahrain’s economy. A number of strategic and media partners, along with Youth Pioneer Society members and program participants, attended the ceremony, which also recognized the three young entrepreneurs with the best business ideas.
