Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program
The U.S. Embassy is accepting applications for the 2020 Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program. The FLTA Program is a nine-month, non-degree academic exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.
The FLTA program provides teachers and those interested in a teaching career an opportunity to refine their teaching skills, increase their English language proficiency and extend their knowledge of the society and culture of the United States, while teaching their native language (Arabic) to U.S. students, and strengthening foreign language instruction at U.S. colleges and universities. FLTA participants also interact with their host communities through extracurricular activities and community outreach projects. The program is open for ages 21 and above. The deadline for accepting applications is August 1, 2019.
